THE VISION
Greetings. I attended two Churches in the pass, that had no vision of God; thus, they made the vision into something physical. Something they could worship about themselves unknowingly, or a physical new building. They took the following Bible verse and made it fix their personal agenda: sometime building a bigger physical Church. Proverbs 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. When we read or hear something an image is formed in our minds. So, if we start reading the Bible an image is formed that the flesh or our mortal thinking could relate too, and the image will be ourselves. I used the word, if: because most so-called Christian never [except on Sundays] even bother to pick up a Bible. Jeremiah 18:12
And they said, There is no hope: but we will walk after our own devices, and we will everyone do the imagination of his evil heart. Their image of God is created totally from an imagination of and evil heart. We had hoped in an image of ourselves, and we bowed down and worshiped the things of our evil hearts. I recalled years ago, during what we called a praise and worship service: at a Church I once attended. People were kneeling in front of the stage: which was wrongly mistaken for an altar, and they had to praise in the right direction. It was all only a circus act, and we were mocking God in false humility. John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. You cannot worship something you don’t spiritually understand. When we obey our own spirit of error in the interpretation of the Bible: God’s Spirit is not in our spirit of error. Acts 17:23 For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you. Men walks down to a physical altar, confesses what sin is to them, and saves themselves by that one physical thing they just did. Later they proclaims they are baptized and full of the Holy Ghost and worship what they accomplished. Job 31:27 and my heart hath been secretly enticed, or my mouth hath kissed my hand. My hands sometime symbolize the mental works of our saving ourselves by what we falsely believe. WORKS EQUAL THOUGHTS AND THOUGHTS EQUAL WORKS AND OUR THOUGHTS ARE NOT EQUAL TO THAT OF GOD!
If possible, we would kiss buttocks, for this great physical wicked deed. Psalm 58:3 The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies. Then they tell all the people they are acquainted with they have been born again, and anybody else who would believe their lie. 1 Timothy 2:4 who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. We cannot be saved when we have created an image of God, based on our mortal thinking of His character or how God thinks. Jeremiah 51:17 Every man is brutish by his knowledge; every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them. Mentally a false image is formed or molten in our mind, because our spirit is that of a brute beast. Jude 1:10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves. As mental craftsmen of an image of God molten in our minds: we speak good of our evil image, because it came from our own understanding. Hosea 13:2 And now they sin more and more, and have made them molten images of their silver, and idols according to their own understanding, all of it the work of the craftsmen: they say of them, Let the men that sacrifice kiss the calves. In these so-called Praise and Worship services, we give sacrifices of the: spiritual congregation of the dead, to an image of a beast or ourselves. Proverbs 21:16 The man that wandereth out of the way of understandingshall remain in the congregation of the dead. The way of understanding in the above verse is Jesus’s way. My way or thoughts have seen an image or vain vision but not the image from above. Ezekiel 13:7 Have ye not seen a vain vision, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, whereas ye say, The Lord saith it; albeit I have not spoken? This image must be destroyed because we are worshipping a thought, and this image becomes a mental idol. We refuse to wait for the Invisible God to be reveal unto us. Since we can’t wait, we created an image of a God in our own mortal likeness or a beast. Exodus 32:22 And Aaron said, let not the anger of my lord wax hot: thou knowest the people, that they are set on mischief. 23 For they said unto me, make us gods, which shall go before us: for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him. Moses was delayed in bringing God’s law down from the mount, so the people made of God in their image: a beast or molten calf. Exodus 32: 7 And the Lord said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves: 8 they have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. Egypt symbolizes our mortal thinking that none of us never left. We walked down to a physical altar repeated after a man, and saved ourselves. We turned aside quickly out of God’s way of righteousness and created our own ways of righteousness, which is iniquity. Our own image of ourselves had corrupted us and we thought we could knew God by our own mortal worldly wisdom. It’s impossible to know God by the wisdom of this world. John 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. We are without a vision of the one true God; thus, we perish and die in our sins. Exodus 32:8 they have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. Our spiritual sacrifices have been what we wrongly thought the scriptures meant, and this is evil to God: we never waited to hear from His Spirit; we have all played the fool. Ecclesiastes 5:1 Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil.
The prophet Job could not discern the image of god, yet we think we are far better than Job. Job 4:15 Then a spirit passed before my face; the hair of my flesh stood up: Job 4:16 it stood still, but I could not discern the form thereof: an image was before mine eyes, there was silence, and I heard a voice, saying. Our error has been we never heard God’s Spiritual voice in the scriptures. Job 4:17 Shall mortal man be more just than God? shall a man be more pure than his maker? This question is directed at all of us, and our spiritual answer has been yes! This image of the unknown God is in all of us, this image is the man of sin or our mortal thinking. Acts 17:23 For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you. Saint Paul was declaring the unknown God was an image of themselves: men ignorantly worship an image of themselves and calls it God.
